Parent Consultation
Dr. Jewell is able to provide confidential consultation services to parents whose children are experiencing a variety of academic and behavior problems. Typical topics for consultation include children's tantrums, using time-out effectively, academic problems, reaction to divorce, grief, etc. Some insurance coverage may be available for these services depending on the topic of consultation, the child, and the insurance plan. Dr. Jewell can provide consultation to teachers for either individual children, or groups of children. Typical problems that consultation may focus on include academic problems (homework completion, reading instruction, etc.) or behavioral problems (out of seat behavior, inattentiveness, noncompliance). Training with groups of teachers can also be provided as well. |
